This is a great special occasions and outings collar! Since it is made using a silk fabric, it is more delicate. If your pup is a heavy scratcher, we do not recommend using this as an everyday collar. Fully washable as per care instructions below.

This size will fit most Greyhounds.
Starts with a strong but soft webbing core in a width to match the collar width.
The webbing is enclosed entirely in either crepe- or flannel-backed satin for body and softness on the neck.
Securely sewn using industrial strength nylon thread on industrial sewing machines, and is finished with top-of-the-line hardware, including welded d-rings.
A Martingale is a “no slip” collar, traditionally used on narrow headed breeds (like Greyhounds) and dogs who are prone to “backing out” of their collar when frightened or startled. They do not have a closure but instead slip over the head and then are tightened after being put on.

All 2 Hounds Design products are machine washable. Place the item in a pillow case or lingerie bag and run on the gentle cycle. Then, air dry the collar, avoiding direct sunlight. Before you know it, your dog’s collar will look as good as new! Make sure that the collar is completely dry before putting it back on your Hound.
